The only thing better than a great product is having a lot of it. That's the idea behind this case of twenty-four containers of Napoleon High-Temperature Sealant.

Each 10.3 ounce container of sealant in this package resists the high levels of heat that fireplaces, inserts, and stoves create, so it helps maintain the safety and integrity of your venting setup after installation and well into the future.

No, this type of sealant is not intended for such a purpose. We would recommend using dry mortar mix or furnace cement.

Is this silicone based and what color?
Is this silicone based and what color?
This sealant by Napoleon is not silicone based. Instead, it is Millpac. Millpac is comprised of high temperature elemental fibers and ceramic fillers that are encapsulated in a high temperature organic based resin. This sealant has a much higher heat tolerance than standard silicone. The finished color of this sealant will be dark gray to black.
