I'm looking for a stone fireplace that can be open to the inside and outside to install in a gazebo that I'm building. I'm looking for a wood burning fire place that has a gas log lighter as I've already run gas to the location. Do you have anything that might work?

We do not offer a see-thru woodburning fireplace that can be used in an indoor/outdoor application such as you describe. All of our see-through woodburning units would rust and corrode if exposed to the outside air in that situation. The only such model we carry is a direct vent gas fireplace. You can see it below:
Do your fireplace kits come with the stone just like in pictures or is that an extra cost?

None of our patio fireplaces come with the stone or masonry surround in which you see them pictured; these are custom enclosures made for the stock photos. Each fireplace consists of the stainless steel firebox and internal components only.

I am looking for an indoor/outdoor see through fireplace. Does such an item exist?
Do the outdoor natural gas fireplaces put off or generate any heat as one would expect the wood-burning fireplaces to do?
By Tyler M. - Fireplace Specialist on December 17, 2012
Yes, our outdoor gas fireplaces also provide a generous amount of heat, though not as much as a wood-burning fireplace.

Do you sell any indoor / outdoor see-thru fireplaces, where one side is in the living room and the other side is on the outdoor patio?

Yes, we do offer a few different direct vent gas fireplaces that can be installed with one side facing indoors and the other facing outside. Please see the fireplaces and their respective outdoor facing kits below:
Please let us know if you would like a quote for any of these models and the required venting materials. Please note that while all these models are for use with natural gas, we do also offer their propane equivalents.

Do the outdoor gas fireplaces use a blower for heat distribution?
By Collin C. - NFI Master Hearth Professional on April 1, 2013
Because of the increased humidity and air circulation in an outdoor environment, a circulating blower is not used on these units. Instead, natural radiation and convection is used to circulate heat.

I am looking for an outdoor wood burning fireplace. I have the exterior stone and want to know what else I need in addition to the fire box. Do I need a flue, a chimney cap, etc?
By Tyler M. - NFI Certified Specialist on September 20, 2013
If you want an outdoor woodburning fireplace, then yes, you will need a chimney. Each manufacturer of our outdoor woodburning fireplaces makes their own chimney pipe for their units; please let us know if you have any questions. If you are interested in a vent-free gas outdoor fireplace, the unit will simply need to be enclosed.
Patio fireplaces allow you to bring the inviting atmosphere of a roaring fire to your deck, patio, or yard. Like other fireplaces, they come in a variety of styles and sizes; we carry everything from traditional wood burning models to free-standing outdoor fireplaces that can also act as grills and cookers. In terms of fuel, patio fireplaces offer you the same options as their indoor counterparts. Wood, gas, and coal are all possible energy sources.
