Installing a Glowing Ember burner system is also stress-free since it comes with everything you need to connect it to your log set.
This is a vented gas log burner that must be installed in a fully vented wood burning fireplace. With vented gas logs, you'll enjoy a large, realistic-looking flame that operates with an open chimney flue, or damper. Vented Gas Log sets, which simulate a wood-burning fire, are the most realistic type of gas logs but, just like real fires, lose some of the generated heat up the chimney. Vented gas log sets are the most popular type of gas logs sold. Professional installation is recommended.
Sets include custom grate, Real-Fyre Burner System, Granules (sand or vermiculite), Glowing Embers, grate clips/log locators, pan/connector kit and damper clamp.
This gas log burner comes with a Manual Safety Pilot Kit. The manual safety pilot is the most basic safety pilot. It is a standing pilot light which stays lit indefinitely. To light the log set or to turn the flame up and down, you simply turn the knob on the pilot kit. This knob is located on the actual pilot kit which is attached to the burner system.

No, this particular burner and pilot assembly will not offer variable flame control.

Is the pilot light adjustable in case the volume of gas supplied is intentionally turned down or lowered?
There is indeed a pilot adjustment screw that will allow you to properly size the pilot flame, should gas pressure be adjusted.

Is the flame size or height adjustable on this?
The manual safety pilot kit does not allow for flame size or height adjustment. You may be able to vary the flame height by controlling the flow of gas into the firebox. If you wish to control flame height with the pilot kit, you will need to purchase the variable flame remote ready pilot kit.
