This Water Glass Adhesive and Concrete Sealer by Rutland comes in a 1 gallon container and is 100 percent sodium silicate. This sealant may be used as an adhesive for gasketing, cartons, or labels, and helps control dust and resists stains as a cement floor sealer. This sealer even serves as a preservative for eggs! Water Glass is a time proven, inexpensive adhesive, and meets Fed Spec 0-S605D Class I and ASTM D3400-85 Type III. Needs no heat to cure.

Per the manufacturer, "When using Item #146 Water Glass, it needs to be diluted 1 part Water Glass with 4 parts water. If your customer uses the whole gallon tub then they would need to use 4 gallons of water to dilute it. If your customer needs a stronger bond, they can use less water."

This product can indeed be diluted and used for that purpose. However, the product may not come into direct contact with flame, as it will compromise its integrity.
