Very Compatible

I?ve already made use of this to clean out our wood-burning chimney. It works wonderfully! The stiff bristles really loosen up the soot. The whole thing is very versatile and fit our chimney great. Also, the rods are a standard size, so they are very compatible.

Tricky To Use But Excellent Results

The soot eater does a good job getting the loose stuff out of your chimney. I used it several times and found that the flexibility allowed me to do it all from the bottom opening of the chimney. I had to use the metal brush to work at the more difficult stuff that the soot eater didn?t dislodge. It takes a little finagling to get the brush to work up and down the chimney. To get it down you have to connect a chain or rope to the loop on the brush?s bottom. Then to get it back up you?ll want to have the extensions that are sold separately. It?s a little tricky to make work, but once you get it worked out, it does an excellent job. I?m very pleased with the results!
