- Ideal for the installation and service of furnaces and oil burners
- Effectively bonds 1/8" wide metal-to-metal and metal-to-masonry joints
This cement can be used to create a seal that is both smoke and air-tight for metal-to-metal and metal-to-masonry joints. Thus it is perfect for the installation of furnaces and oil burners, for sealing flues and ash pit doors, and for doing minor repairs on stoves. It is suitable for use on firebrick, steel, and cast iron. The cement will withstand temperatures of up to 2000° F and bonds 1/8" joints. The tub contains pre-mixed cement for convenient application and is completely free of any toxic fumes. It cleans up with water as a solvent and is a silicate cement. Dry time is one hour and the heat cure temperature if 500° F. The product has a shelf life of about 18 months from the date of shipment.

Please Note: This cement contains sodium silicate. It should not be used without safety goggles and chemical-resistant gloves.
