The Soho Wood Stove not only provides heat for your home, it also creates a cozy atmosphere for your living area - or any space in your home which measure 500-1500 square feet. It's even approved for use in mobile homes. The OB01520 model is a High-Efficiency EPA Certified Appliance. Its firebox is lined with refractory bricks to create better heat distribution, and the stainless-steel secondary-air system improves the gas combustion that occurs to get your fire going. The Soho Wood Stove also features a burn time of 5-6 hours, controlled combustion, a high heat-resistant C-cast, 75.3% efficiency, and a glass air-wash system. It's tested by an accredited laboratory to ensure it measure up to any applicable standards.
    Customer Questions & Answers
By Barry from TX on August 12, 2017
Does "High-Efficiency EPA Certified Appliance" mean that it is Energy Star approved?
    By Kelsey C. on August 14, 2017

    Answer:
No, these do not have the same qualifiers. EPA certification on a woodstove or fireplace means that they generally release less particulates into the atmosphere and will provide a longer burn time. Basically, they meet stricter green codes set forth by the EPA, which is required in some states like CA, WA, OR, and CO. Energy Star units are more likely to be gas heaters or furnaces providing primary heat that can meet a 90% efficiency standard (almost impossible for a wood burning appliance).
