Constructed to fit any standard six inch black or galvanized stove pipe, the six inch -stove draft regulator may be used in with all wood-burning and coal-burning stove furnaces. A draft regulator will pay for itself in a short amount of time since it will improve combustion and efficiency by helping to regulate draft. It counteracts negative forces caused by changes in temperature and barometric pressure as well as changes in wind force and direction. Installation is quick and easy.

The damper is indeed adjustable, with a small threaded weight installed on the upper third of the flap. The weight can be threaded inward or outward to offset the center point of balance.

The draft regulator will need to be installed above the manual damper. When the stove is operating, the regulator will balance the draft flow, based on the position of the manual damper.

Seems Well Made

I haven't used the regulator yet as it is still summer, so I will update my review later. But I am satisfied with the quality and that it is all one piece.
