What does "programmable thermostat" mean? In other words, what can it be programmed to do? How many watts is this unit? How many speeds does the fan have?

Answer:By programmable, the manufacturer is stating that a desired temperature range between 50 and 90 degrees can be programmed into the digit control board. The unit has an energy consumption of 1,865 watts. The blower has high and low settings, but the exact speed of the fan cannot be varied.

Can you program it to turn on and off at desired times during the day? We would like it to come on between 5 and 7 every morning and on again between 9 and 11 at night.
