High on Looks, Lower on Functionality
I'm very pleased with the way this product looks. It complements our fireplace really well. I'm a bit disappointed with how hard it was to put the andirons together. I was also disappointed to learn that the backs are rather short and curved. The way they curve to the middle of the fireplace isnt what I was expecting. I'm hoping that they will work with the fireplace grate to keep the logs inside whenever theres a fire, but I'm not so sure they will based on the awkward fit in the fireplace. Then again, they may work fine. Havent needed a fire yet, but well see. Either way, I still love the way they look.
