    Customer Questions & Answers
    1 Question & 1 Answer
    from New York City asked:
    January 13, 2017
What is the insert "logs" or rocks? Does the item come with a tamper to extinguish the flame should that be desired? Is the gel canister used, refillable or is a new canister used each time. If so, is there a mechanism or specific place where gel canister sits? I can't tell from the picture, is the door mesh or glass? Does it open vertically or horizontally? Does the fire make a "crackling sound" when it burns?
    1 Answer
There are no logs or rocks, simply a metal spot where the flame exits. This is where you will put the gel cannisters, which are disposable. The fire does indeed make a crackling sound when it burns.
