I have seen other liners that have an insulation and wire mesh sock that goes over liner before installation. Does yours have that, or is that not needed? My chimney is tile lined and I was told I don't need the insulation.

No, this liner is a single-wall, stainless steel flex pipe with no insulation. We do recommend the 6 inch x 30-ft. HomeSaver UltraPro Chimney Liner Insulation Kit to be used with this liner, but it is not always required, as in your case.

Is this liner okay to use with a wood stove? I realize there are different ones for wood, gas, and oil fires but I couldn't find where it might say it's okay for wood.

Yes, this liner is indeed suitable for use with a wood stove.

What are the differences between 304 and 316l kits?
    1 Answers
The difference is in the quality of stainless steel. The 316 is a higher-quality grade of stainless, and thus is more expensive than the 304. The 304 kit offers a lighter liner at a more economically feasible price.
