- Ceramic blanket covered with a 2 mil thick foil in 1/4" and 3 mil thick foil in 1/2"
- Special ceramic fibers that resist separation
- Helps center your liner properly in the chimney
- Suitable for use with Ventinox VG, Ventinox VFT, FasNSmooth, and DuraFlex Liners
- UL/ULC Listed
Special ceramic fibers that resist separation is what makes this HomeSaver Foil Face insulation ideal for installations with bends or offsets. It's literally a ceramic blanket covered with tough aluminum foil that is 2 mm thick for 1/4 inch variety or 3 mm thick for the 1/2-inch. Not only does the foil add insulation value, it makes FlexWrap easy to work with-just wrap it lengthwise on the pipe and fasten it with an adhesive. Careful installation can even help center your liner properly in the chimney. DuraFlex liners are UL/ULC listed for safety and dependability.

Can this product be used to reduce clearance to combustibles for single wall smoke pipe for an oil fired boiler?
No, this insulation wrap is only suitable for use over a stainless steel chimney liner inside a noncombustible flue.

I was searching for foiled faced insulation to reline my oil furnace. found this product and it worked perfectly. Unfortunately I only needed a two foot piece and had to purchase the entire roll, but I am sure I'll find other uses for the remainder.
