The description says that this is "rubbed-oil bronze," however, the finish in the photo looks fairly light. I need a dark bronze color. Is the color on your website accurate?
    1 Answer
The image does accurately depict an oil-rubbed bronze finish. We do not offer a screen of this style with a darker bronze color.

Can you see the fire through this screen?
    1 Answer
This screen has a very fine mesh, and while you will be able to see the flames, the view will be a bit obstructed and somewhat unclear.

Love it. The lines are graceful and the screen is beautiful. The service was fast.

Nice product, with just a little more attention to detail keeping it from being great
Easy to order, actual product looked like picture shown online (even a little nicer), delivered in about two weeks. Pricing (on sale) was very competitive. Comes assembled!
ProsFolding style (without feet) is attractive and versatile. Sturdier than 'feet' and easier than an installed screen -- from box to hearth in 3 minutes. Heavy & substantial with nice materials -- doesn't feel or look cheap. Attractive colors. Shipped in perfect condition. REALLY like this product and would give it 5 stars/recommend without reservation, except for the point below.
ConsI don't AT ALL like the silver 'studs'/fasteners that show between the sections when the screen is set up (with sides folded in). These ALMOST (and may still) cause me to return this item -- it's a very jarring/cheap look in what is otherwise a really nice, attractive product (see photo). I'm not sure why bright silver is used when the rest of the product is black/dark bronze -- bad design decision. I don't like that aspect at all -- it destroys the whole look/flow of the screen. Additionally, on my particular screen -- the black mesh comes up too far on the left side of the main/center section. It's supposed to come up and 'roll over' a top metal piece tucked behind the front trim (like it does across the rest of the top), but on the left side on mine it protrudes a bit over the top of the bronze trim. That's a small imperfection I could overlook though; the silver studs/fasteners are the real appearance issue. Yuck. May try to paint them, just to avoid the hassle of a return, but wouldn't expect to have to do that . . . Would recommend to friends, with a warning/reservations about the fastener issue.
