If you have 6" DVL, this would indeed work. You would also need the DuraVent DVL Stovepipe/Chimney Pipe Adaptor With Trim - 6".Â

This would not work for DuraPlus. You would need the DuraPlus All-Fuel Square Cathedral Ceiling Support Box - For Chimney Pipes with a 6-Inch Inner Diameter - 6DP-CS24.

I would recommend this item to a friend.
An attractive installation
This chimney support box looked really professional when I finished installing it.
Fairly simple unit to install. Looks good coming through the ceiling after the trim frame is installed. Word of wisdom: double-check your measurements! What is measured on the ceiling in the room can be tricky to translate once in the attic.
Does not install quickly.
