I have attached the name plate from my fireplace in hopes of getting replacement refractory panels. I am looking for the two side panels, and one back panel.

Unfortunately, we do not offer refractory panels that are specific to your fireplace model. We do, however, offer universal refractory panels. They are manufactured by Hargrove, and we sell them single or in sets of two. How thick are the panels?
    1 Answers
The thickness and all other dimensions are not provided as these panels should not be used outside of their intended purpose. This ceramic liner is only compatible with certain Superior/Vantage Hearth direct vent gas Fireplaces and would not be appropriate for any other prefabricated fireplace. The same will be the case with most all liners offered on our site as they will be listed accessories that are only suitable for use with the gas fireplaces we also offer. The use of these panels with a wood burning fireplace is actually quite dangerous as as they are purely decorative and provide no heat protection like the refractory brick panels used with wood fireplaces. We do offer the 24 inch X 28 inch and 24 inch X 40 inch (set of two) Hargrove Universal replacement panels for wood appliances and these can indeed be cut to fit any prefabricated wood burning fireplace. However, the exact replacement panels for your fireplace may still be available. If you would like us to look into this further, please provide the make and model number of your fireplace and which panels are needing replacement. If more than two, your complete shipping address will be needed. If this is a gas fireplace, we will still need the make and model number as the optional decorative panels are make and model specific and will listed only for use with that fireplace, just like the panels in question.

I have a Majestic wood burning fireplace. Model # SH 42, Manufacture's # AF-2317807. The fireplace has several cracks in the back and bottom (hearth) refractory panels. The side panels are fine. The brick imprint pattern measures 9" X 4" per imprint. The bottom panel is not rectangular like the others and seems to have a "lip" on three sides that the other panels sit on. What are my options for replacing the back and bottom panels? I can install them myself.

Per the manufacturer, the original back and hearth panels are still available and are indeed field replaceable. The metal retainers that hold the side panels in position would need to be removed, allowing the side panels to be leaned out of position, gaining you access to the rear and bottom panels. We do not have the panels listed on our site currently, but I can contact you via phone, if you would like to order them.

I have a Superior 42" Fireplace, model BRF4385. The back panel 28" long. I'm looking for a replacement set. Can you help me?

Unfortunately, we do not have the manufacturer-specific panel that you are looking for, but we do offer some universal refractory panels that will work for your woodburning fireplace. Please see the following links: One 24"h x 28"w Panel Two 24" h x 40"w Panels These panels are about 3/4" thick and can be cut down to the size you need with a masonry blade or tile saw. They are suitable for use as side, rear and floor panels inside any manufactured woodburning fireplace.

How do I properly measure to get the correct sized replacement panels for my wood burning fireplace?
    1 Answers
While these are refractory brick panels, they will not stand up to the heat of a wood burning fireplace. We carry universal refractory panels with the sodium silicate needed to withstand high temperatures without crumbling. The panels available are the Hargrove Replacement Fireplace Refractory Panel - 24 inch X 28 inch and the Hargrove Replacement Fireplace Refractory Panels - 24 inch X 40 inch - Set of 2. The existing panels can be removed and measured as a template or their height and depth can be measured in place to get an idea of how many replacements will be needed.

I have a Majestic direct vent fireplace model DVBR36. I need the side (2) and rear ceramic panels, according to manual the parts numbers are Ceramic Panel (Rear) 20000905 Ceramic Panel (side) 20000904 Is this something you can order or do you suggest that i go with something else?
    1 Answers
The manufacturer has advised that these panels are no longer available. Because they are ceramic panels, the original style and size must be used. My best suggestion would be to continue checking with other Majestic dealers to see if they may have these panels on hand as old stock. I apologize that I am unable to obtain these parts for you.

I am replacing my mom's fire panels because the back panel was cracked into pieces. We put this fire place in about 10 years ago and we do not have a model number on the fireplace itself. This is just like what i am looking for but i am assuming that the 42" is the total width, correct? I need 53" total if this is the case do you make one? I have the two side panels that are 14-1/2 W X 20-1/4 H and then i have the back panel that is 24" W X 18" H and these are 1" thick.

My fireplace has three liner panels similar to this. One of the joints has about a 3/8" gap between the panels. I assume that there is a sufficient fire barrier behind the panels, but I cannot be sure. Is there any reason to not apply a fire caulk between these panels as a safe measure?
    1 Answers
Generally, there will be a small gap between the panels in most fireplaces. There is a metal chassis behind the panels that will completely encompass the surrounding area behind the liner and is riveted or welded together. The panels will usually have a gap to allow expansion and contraction. It should not be necessary to seal the gap.

I'm looking for a 36" firebox for a wood burning fireplace. I need three sides and the floor. It's a Majestic.
    1 Answers
Per your inquiry, I'm assuming you need the replacement refractory panels for your Majestic fireplace. In order to check availability and pricing of these, I will need to know the exact model number of the Majestic unit you have. The manufacturers list all of their liner panels by part number, rather than size. As a result, we must have the model number of the unit to proceed.
