Requiring no electricity, this furnace easily retrofits, and comes with milivolt controls, as well as automatic safety shut off. These furnaces feature a 10 year warranty for combustion chamber and a 1 year limited warranty for parts. The dimensions of this wall furnace are 66 1/8 in. H x 16 in. W x 6 in. D.

    Does this Empire GWT25 gravity-vented wall furnace come with flue pipe?

    No, this heater does not include any vent pipe. It requires 4" type B oval gas vent pipe for operation. For more information, please see pages 5-6 of the owner's manual.

    This furnace can be operated with the Empire Wall Thermostat with Reed Switch or the Empire Wireless Wall Thermostat.

    How large a space can this unit warm?

    Our rule of thumb is 35 BTU per square foot. This unit could roughly heat a little more than 700 square feet.

    Strange Noise
    The heater makes a loud sound when it kicks on and shuts off. It is a very strange cracking noise.
