Our olefin rugs are naturally resistant to sparks and hot embers. This material will have by far the greatest resistance to damage, should a hot ember fall out upon the rug.

Because there are certain wool combinations that are more flame resistant than others, the difference is that the ones we sell have been tested to meet proper flame resistance levels.
