Will this kit work for ground floor installation of a CHDV32NR fireplace?
    1 Answers
This product will indeed work with a ground floor installation through an outside wall. Depending on the distance of the unit from the wall, you may need additional piping as well.

I have a DESA (v)KC36N direct vent fireplace. Can I use the FMI direct vent pipe? If not, can you recommend what to use?
    1 Answers
This product does indeed use the current FMI/Superior 5 x 8 inch direct vent piping. A direct fit is possible without any modification or adapters.

I want to extend the horizontal chimney pipe about 8 feet before connecting to the square termination cap outside. What is the maximum distance that chimney pipe may be run horizontally?
    1 Answers
The amount of allowable horizontal run will be directly proportional to the amount of vertical piping that you have before horizontal run. In the case of most appliances, a 3 to 4 foot vertical run would be needed to facilitate an 8 foot horizontal run.
