A real delight
I wanted to replace an old 24" set with an electronic starter. The remote switch worked for one year, and the electric starter was always unreliable to start a fire. A direct match light enabled me to upgrade to a 30" set because there are no electronics taking up space in the fireplace. The charred oak set is very realistic looking and the openness provided by the burnt-log in the center makes for a very large an delightful fire. Highly recommend it both the match light burner and the charred oak logs.

Minimal Installation Needs
As long as you already have a gas line in your fireplace (whether you get it installed before buying this or already have one), the amount of effort it takes to get this set up is minimal.
