Do you already have a manufactured ceiling support box in place? If so, you will be limited to using only the chimney system the support box was designed for use with if you plan to use the existing support box. If you do not have the support box in place, we will need to know the slope of the ceiling, the vertical distance from the bottom of the ceiling joists to the roof decking, in addition to the straight horizontal distance measured from where the chimney will penetrate the roof to the peak or highest point of the roof to determine the proper chimney height needed to establish code requirements. If the support box is already in place, we will need the manufacturer and part number information for the support box and all of the same measurements. However, you would not need to provide the ceiling slope if the support box is already installed and would only need to provide the measurement from the bottom of the support to the roof decking and the remaining measurements I've requested.
