Are these safe for use indoors?
These units are designed specifically for indoor use. They have a maximum BTU rating of 40,000 and have oxygen depletion sensors in the pilot assembly that lead to the gas control valve for an added level of safety. Please keep in mind that they do make some carbon monoxide and are tuned to be safely installed inside a home. It is recommended to confirm that vent-free appliances are allowed in your area by code.
