Please see the Venting Components section on this page if available for venting pipe that must be used with this unit. This item is a replacement cap for clean-out tees and is designed to be used with DuraVent PelletVent Pro tees with 3" inner diameters. It is made of durable galvalume. The PelletVent Pro system is used with stoves and inserts that use wood pellet and oil fuel with continuous flue temperatures up to 570° F. Access to the clean-out tee is important for performing regular maintenance duties that keep the vents clean and keep the system working at its best. Is this the signal walled clean out that has a smooth outer surface? The new one I got has a double wall and a sharp riveted piece on the outside that tears up your hands.

No, this is a double-wall, insulated pipe meant for use with select pellet stoves and inserts.
