Is the HP14db model energy-efficient for cooling and heating?
Hi Valerie, While we don't have a product explicitly named 'HP14db' in our catalog, we do carry several OxBox 14 SEER Heat Pumps and other units with a 14 SEER rating that provide both cooling and heating.
SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) is a measure of cooling efficiency, where a higher number indicates greater efficiency. A 14 SEER rating is considered a good standard for energy efficiency. For heating, some of our heat pump units, such as the OxBox 2.5 Ton 14 SEER Horizontal Heat Pump Unit, also list an AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency) of 81%.
