How can you clean soot off the gloves?
    1 Answer
You will need to shake off or vacuum away as much of the soot as possible first and then mix 2 cups of cool water with 1 cup of dishwashing liquid. Using a clean white cloth, blot the stain with this mixture until any stains are removed.

Which are the best fireplace gloves for handling logs in fire pits?
    1 Answer
All of the gloves offered will work well for your needs and will be constructed of flame-retardant leather and offer some form of wrist and arm protection. Our most well-reviewed options are the Copperfield Cowhide Insulated Fire Retardant Woodburner's Gloves - 74100 and the Minuteman A-13B Hearth Gloves - Large - Black.
