Don W. from Georgia asked:
What is the difference between the pilot options?
What is the difference between the pilot options?
We have match light, which does not have remote capability and you would need to turn the flames to the logs on and off by hand. The more popular choices are remote ready pilots. We carry on/off remote ready pilots. You would have a standing pilot light but would be able to use a remote to turn the flames on and off to the logs. We also have variable flame remote ready pilots. These you can use a remote to turn the flames on and off to the log as well as adjust the flame height. We also have electronic ignition remote ready pilots. With these, you would not have a standing pilot light but would use a remote to ignite the pilot each time you wanted to use the logs as well as to turn the flames to the logs on and off. With this option, you can turn the flames on and off but you would not have the option of adjusting the flame height.
