Does a RealFyre system G46-24P-01 require a stainless steel flue liner in the chimney?

Like any other vented gas log burner, installation requires the existing chimney to be in sound condition and functional as a wood fireplace. If you have a masonry chimney with no liner and someone has suggested relining the chimney, then a liner would be needed.

What is the noncombustable area required from the top of the firebox to the mantle? The log set is NUMBERG462411M.

If you have a 24" G46, or any vented gas burner for that matter, no specific mantel clearances will be provided for the burner itself as its assumed that any mantel would already adhere to the minimum clearance requirements for the respective wood burning fireplace that the burner is being used with. \
