Does this pit come with a full cover? What type of assembly is required!

This fire pit does include a cover. The assembling of the appliance is minimal and will include instructions on how to assemble the base and attach the top and burner assembly.

Why cant any of these fire pits be installed under a covered patio that is open on 3 sides?

Per the manufacturer testing requirements, installing under any porch covering would cause a hazard.
