So easy to set up, works great!
Super easy to set up with the app. Paired with my old Skytech remote and receiver 3001 no problem, allowing remote (off-site Wi-Fi) control through the app. I like that there's an extra step to ensure it's safe to ignite in case of accidental pressing (I keep the app closed at all times to avoid the slim chance this might occur). Control with the button works as well; I did not try Alexa. I needed to pair with the SkySmart Bluetooth remote and associated receiver (my old one paired with only one device at a time) because I wanted a physical remote for my Airbnb. That receiver pairs with several remotes at once. So now my guests have an old-school remote with a simple on/off button, and I can monitor and turn it off when needed from afar with the ONE. One week in so far, all good! If you have trouble pairing, remove the batteries/power from the receiver/remote and reset, then try again!

Turn on fire place on the way to our cabin.
So we wanted a way to heat up the cabin on the way to Vermont and we have a propane fire place with a remote control. I added The One on our wifi just plug and play! no wiring at all ! Now I just turn on the fire place with whatever temp we want and now its nice and warm when we arive.
