These andirons have a classic colonial design and are made from hand-forged iron with a vintage iron finish. The andirons hold the wood, elevate it off the floor of the hearth, and keep the wood and cinders from spilling out of the fireplace as the fire progresses. You could use a grate, but andirons offer a real old-fashioned touch to your fireplace. The dimensions of each andiron are 11" W x 17" H x 14" D. They carry a limited lifetime warranty.
