You'll get a heads up when it's time to clean the filter, and the 4-way air direction helps circulate air evenly. Energy Saver and Sleep modes make it super efficient, and the touch button controls are a breeze. It comes with an installation kit plus a washable filter that slides in and out. It's designed to remove dust and is easy to set up in your slider or casement window. This little powerhouse has a cooling capacity of 8,000 BTU, and it's just the right size to cool spaces up to 350 sq ft.
Please Note: This air conditioner does not work for standard double hung windows.

Powerful AC, but figuring out continuous fan use.
This AC unit cools my space down quickly and effectively. I'm still learning the settings, specifically how to make the fan run continuously. Overall, it's a solid air conditioner.
