Martin R. from Methuen, Massachusetts asked:
Do the Quartz gas fireplaces, with a wall switch and remote control, have a battery (batteries) inside the fireplace or just in the Remote Controller (RC400)? We are hearing a double chirping sound much like a fire alarm battery replacement warning?

There are no batteries located under the unit.  However, the control module will produce a series of "beeps" when it has noticed a non-ignition after a series of attempts. You will need to locate the control module, switch the manual switch off, then back to remote to clear the fault. Please reference your owner's manual for the location of the control module and further information if needed.
