Is this product meant to be used in direct vent gas fireplaces?
    1 Answer
It is not. The product is only meant for solid fuel appliances. Direct vent gas units usually only require period vacuuming of the burner assembly and a wipe down of the glass with a 50/50 solution of water and vinegar.

Is this soot stopper safe to use in pellet stoves?
    1 Answer
This product should not be used inside a pellet stove. The configuration of the burn pot used in this type of appliance will not work with a toss in type of cleaner.
