Is this unit suitable for an RV?
This is an electric fireplace with no real fire, only flame simulation. The manufacturer does not prohibit installing it in an RV, motor home, or mobile home. However, it is prohibited to install it in a bathroom or laundry room.

This unit can be recessed into the wall as is. The manufacturer covers the framing dimensions needed for a recessed installation on page 8 of this manual.
