The color of the mesh is black. The wings on the sides can fold in completely. There are no feet on the back of this screen.

Hard for the Elderly
We had hoped to use this screen for a short-term rental property, but it is much too heavy. It would be too difficult for older individuals to handle.

Too Heavy
This screen is extremely heavy, which is a strong negative for me. It has a good price and nice appearance, but it is just too heavy.

Good Shield for Fireplace
For such a moderate price, this fireplace screen is high quality. It is heavy enough to stay put whether you set it up right on the hearth or have to move it out of the way to add wood. Another safety feature is the way it curves making a shield so no embers can escape.
