The American Chimney Shroud is a smart way to protect your chimney top from unwanted visitors like critters and bugs. This shroud is built tough to handle whatever weather gets thrown its way, keeping your chimney safe and sound. It's super simple to pop on and keep clean, making your life easier. Plus, it's designed to keep sparks from flying out and bothersome downdrafts from coming in, all while letting your chimney breathe right. This handy cover also gives a neat finish to metal fireplace terminations, and its special coating helps it resist fading and corrosion. You can even use it as a rain cap or spark arrestor if you need.

Customer Q&A with Product Specialists

Michael J. from WV asked:
Do you make one for a 13x13 liner?
Do you make one for a 13x13 liner?
American Chimney offers these chimney pots in a range of footprint sizes, and they are custom-built to order, so we can very likely match one to your chimney. Please note that these are top-mounted covers sized to the outside of your chimney crown and the height of your flue, not just the flue liner. Therefore, a 13x13 inch liner alone does not determine the correct pot size. To ensure you get the right fit, we need the outside length and width of your chimney crown (the masonry top where the pot will rest) and the height of your tallest flue tile above that crown. You can use our Virtual Chimney Cap Assistant to find matching options. Our Chimney Cap Buying Guide provides detailed instructions on what measurements are needed. Please reply with your crown dimensions and flue height, and we will confirm the correct pot and provide a quote. These items are made to order and typically have a lead time of 4 to 6 weeks.
