How do you secure to drywall? Do you have a bracket or a clip if I add a board through the stud behind? I want to put behind my stove cooking area.

This item is not meant to be attached to drywall, it is meant to be set at the back of a fireplace.

We have a small wood-burning fireplace, however, I'm curious about whether I need the feet for the fireback? What are the benefits to having the feet?

The feet provide stability for the fireback, instead of simply lying it in the back of the firebox, leaning against the back wall.

Only if you actually have a ventless gas log set installed into a masonry wood fireplace. If not, the construction of most manufactured gas fireplaces will not support the weight of a cast iron fireback.

Should the Fleur De Lys fireback lean back on the wall of my fireplace?

Ideally, the fire back will indeed be positioned to lean so that heat is reflected upward and out into the room.
