Product Details
Every fireplace needs an ash bucket specially designed for easy ash removal. Ours features a double bottom to insulate against hot ashes. It comes with a cover to minimize dust and ash escape, two handles for easy maneuvering, and is a unique shape for the task. This ash bucket is all black; you may also choose black with brass handles-whichever best matches your other fireplace accessories. You may also use this bucket as a coal scuttle or to transport pellets. During the warm season, use it to carry seeds! All black powder coated, the ash bucket measures 13 inches high by 12 inches in diameter.
Customer Q&A with Product Specialists
Terrie
from oklahoma asked:
Can glowing coals be placed in this bucket?
Yes, this ash bucket is designed to hold hot ash and glowing coals. Its double-bottom construction provides insulation against heat, preventing unsafe exterior temperatures, and it can also function as a coal scuttle. For safety, always place the bucket on a non-combustible surface away from flammable materials. Ensure ashes or coals are completely cooled, typically 24 to 48 hours, before emptying, and avoid long-term storage of hot embers within the bucket.

Looks Good
Overall, the product looks pretty good, but be careful of the paint job. It seems like it is easily damaged, so it could loose that good look pretty fast.
Yes, I would recommend this item.

A Great Size
Trying to get other containers to fit all of the ashes and keep ash from flying everywhere was a real chore. Thankfully, there was plenty of room around my hearth for this to sit without getting in the way (even though my fireplace can be a little cluttered), and it does a great job of making ash clean up a lot more manageable than before.

No Real Problems With the Loose Top
I have noticed a couple people say the top is a little more loose than they would have liked. While this is true, I haven't noticed any real problems arising from this fact.

Gets the Job Done
Keeping your fireplace clean is a safety issue as much as a cleanliness issue. If you have a lot of fires, this will do the job.

Great Bucket
This ash bucket is a nice size, much bigger than others I had researched. It has a lid, a movable handle, and a double bottom for safety of hot ashes. It is an attractive bucket and it looks fantastic beside the fireplace. Just what I was looking for!
Pros
