Can this product be used in an outdoor Masonary gas fireplace?

It is not recommended to use these in an outdoor fireplace, as the cast iron will eventually rust and corrode.

The feet are generally placed an inch or so in from the far left and far right of the fireback bottom.

Better Than Expected!
This is a hefty product, very high quality, heavy duty, and I expect they will last a very long time. Very happy with our purchase, I can highly recommend to other buyers!
Beefy, solid, holds the fireback in exactly the right place and angle. Adjustable.

They are ok
They are ok, the small chucks are a little loose, could fit better especially since they are made to fit this brands firebacks, but the do hold it in place.

Essential for Proper Display
I consider these an essential piece of equipment if you are getting a fireback. They are heavy, solid, and will hold the fireback in place. They also make the American Eagle pattern more visible, so the presentation is stunning.

Adjustable Feet
We use these feet to raise up our fireback to get more coverage near the flames. It fits underneath our grate, and the feet are adjustable so can be used with different models of fireback and with different grates. It is a good system and puts out a significant amount of heat.

Good I'dea, Wrong Fit
These are a great idea for raising a fireback off the ground while keeping it steady, but unfortunately were the wrong size for mine. I ended up buying a larger grate and propping the fireback on that instead.
