I have a 15th century French fireback that is 1 inch thick on one side and 1.25 inches thick on the other side of the bottom. Will it fit into the mounting opening of your feet?
These fireback feet are designed for our Minuteman cast iron firebacks, which are about 1 inch thick. Unfortunately, they will not be large enough to accommodate your fireback.

These feet are designed specifically for use with Minuteman firebacks. For lifting logs and promoting air flow, we recommend the 55G grate. Its dimensions are 26" W x 2 3/4" H x 10" D.

These feet would not work with a fireback that is 1/2" thick.

Adjustable Feet
We use these feet to raise up our fireback to get more coverage near the flames. It fits underneath our grate, and the feet are adjustable so can be used with different models of fireback and with different grates. It is a good system and puts out a significant amount of heat.

Good Idea, Wrong Fit
These are a great idea for raising a fireback off the ground while keeping it steady, but unfortunately were the wrong size for mine. I ended up buying a larger grate and propping the fireback on that instead.
