These swiveling brackets are pre-drilled for secure mounting to the fireplace wall with your choice of masonry anchoring hardware. Made of wrought iron with decorative leaf and scroll elements, this bracket is a traditional combination of beauty and function, finished in a black powder coating.

What is the overall height of the mounting bracket that attaches to the firebrick? Also, is the mounting hardware (and bracket swivel) robust enough to be able to cook, say, a cast iron pot of bean soup from scratch on?
Per the manufacturer, the mounting bracket is 22 inches in overall height. The recommended weight capacity for the crane is 15 pounds, so it should be able to hold up to most scenarios without a problem.
