Does this screen fit flush with the fireplace surround or does it have feet extensions in the back?
This screen assembly does indeed have a pair of leveling feet that are set inward on the screen assembly, however they do not project rearward into the fireplace opening. They are small assemblies that are only meant to help level the item.

Beautiful & Sturdy Fireplace Screen!
