How do you clean an enamel steamer from calcium build up?
Try washing it with white vinegar. The acetic acid should dissolve all of that stuff. You can try heating it to speed up the reaction. Rinse it thoroughly to get rid of the vinegar taste (if you use it for tea water).

A lovely piece for the top of any stove.
We have a somewhat small woodstove, but this fits perfectly on top. I have no worries about rust due to the beautiful, high-quality enamel coating. You may have to fill more often than a larger kettle, but it is simple to pour right in the top without any trouble.
