Are the rubber feet of this trivet OK to use on a wood stove?
The rubber feet on this item should be removed if you do plan on using it upon a wood stove. The feet are included with the item to protect a wooden floor if the item is used as a planter trivet.

Holds Up Well Under the Heat
This thing has excellent construction. I?m getting good use out of it and expect to for years to come. It?s perfect for heating water on our wood-burning stove. The stove gets extremely hot, but this keeps the pan off the stove. I was getting rust spots in my water pan, but this has solved the problem. Even with the extreme heat, it does fine.

Keeps Food Warm
This is excellent for converting our woodstove into a warming pad. I can put this on our woodstove and keep food warm without having to worry about burning.
