The American Panel Hearth Classic 36 x 36 Classic Edge Type 2 Hearth Board is a neat way to finish off your fireplace setup. It's pretty light compared to other hearth pads out there, making it easier to handle. This hearth board sports a cool, powder-coated finish and is built with strong, extruded, tubed aluminum. It offers some really good thermal value without needing any air pockets, and it helps tiles stick to it really well. This hearth board also gives you a higher R-Value than many other options, offering a solid and attractive foundation for your fireplace.

Also Note: Item provides both thermal and ember protection as a Type 2 stove board.
