This tough hearth extension is built with solid 10 gauge steel, so it's really sturdy and won't bend or warp over time. You can just lay it down directly on your carpeting without needing to pull it up, making setup a total breeze. Plus, it's made right here in the USA and is tested to meet UL 1618 standards for excellent protection. Its stylish black finish will blend in nicely with most decors.
