It's pretty light, weighing about 30% less than similar hearth pads, so moving it around is way easier. Plus, it's totally non-combustible, giving you peace of mind. Cleaning up is a breeze too, as grout and thin-set wipe right off the frame. It provides good thermal value without needing air pockets.
