The American Panel Hearth Classics 60 x 60 Inch Asian Slate Original Edge Type 2 Hearth Board brings a warm, natural look to your home. This sturdy hearth board features a rich brown color and a unique original edge that gives it a distinctive character. It's built with two substrates, totaling 3/4-inch in thickness, and boasts a 1.592 R-value for good thermal performance, meaning it doesn't need air pockets to work its magic. The powder-coated finish adds durability, and the 1 1/4-inch frame with corner plugs ensures a clean, finished appearance. You'll also find it's fully non-combustible for safety, and cleanup is a breeze as grout and thin-set wipe right off the frame. Plus, its excellent tile bonding characteristics make it a fantastic base for your tiling projects.
Please Note: Current tile offerings are subject to change, and the actual color of tile may vary from the product picture.
Also Note: Item provides both thermal and ember protection as a Type 2 stove board.
