The American Panel 32 x 32 Original Edge Type 2 Corner Hearth Board is a neat way to finish off your fireplace area. It's built tough with extruded, tubed aluminum, making it super strong and also surprisingly light, about 30% lighter than other hearth pads you might see. This board gives you great tile bonding, so whatever you decide to put on top will stick nicely. Plus, it's got a fantastic R-Value, much higher than other substrates out there, and it doesn't need any air pockets to do its job of keeping things safe and sound. This hearth board offers a solid, reliable foundation for your beautiful fireplace setup.

Also Note: Item provides both thermal and ember protection as a Type 2 stove board.
