Essential Safety Monitor
This product serves the purpose of monitoring something that could potentially save your home from a dryer fire mishap. It is relatively easy to install and simple to operate. It only uses air pressure with a red gage liquid - no electricals of any kind. The installation itself is the best time to confirm the cleanliness of the dryer ducting so that you are at a safe baseline performance condition.
Pros
(1) Easy to install(2) Easy to operate and monitor - it monitors when the dryer is operating
Cons
(1) You have to be able to access the dryer duct work (close to dryer) for installation of the pressure tap.
