Customer Q&A with Product Specialists
Blake G.
from Virginia asked:
Can this unit be upgraded with remote start and flame height adjustment?
This millivolt gas fireplace is designed to operate with a remote control or a wall thermostat, making it possible to upgrade with remote operation. You can choose between a basic on/off remote or a thermostat-controlled remote, both of which are compatible with Buck Stove millivolt gas appliances like this one and are sold separately. Flame height is not adjustable on this unit; heat output is controlled only by the on/off switch or wall thermostat, not by the control knob, resulting in an on or off flame rather than variable heights.
